Re-issue of the original 1987 album, except for the track "Nietsche", listed on the sleeve but not featured on the CD.
The three poems Havamal, Voluspa and Sigdridfumal are taken from the Edda. The versions used here are based on the translations by W. H. Auden and P. B. Taylor and have been adapted by Freya Aswynn. The poem Wotan has been taken from "Also sprach Zarathustra".
Recorded in London early 1987 at Alaska studios.
