Symposium - 10101 The Binary Code MP3 FLAC

Hmmm, where to start?! Well, there is so much too like about this track; however sadly, a bit to also dislike.

I love the groove and feel of the track (very progressive IMO), the instrumentation used (very analogue-ish; ARPs, MOOGs, PROPHETS, POLY6, SH-201/SH-202, etc; although most likely from soft-synths such as: Absynth, ReWire, Nuendo, NI FM7/FM8, Sytrus, ImageLine/Fruity Loops FL8, et al), and chordal values and structures.

That said, this track comes up short on overall production (it sounds similar to a demo tape/DHC; like owning a new Corvette without the beautiful stylishly cool paint job), and it could have used better, or more of a heavier instrumentation feel (ie: fatter sounds, more expansive sounds, et al)

I occasionlly hammer this track, depending on the event, station, club, etc.; this track still gets people moving and grooving, and after all, isn't that what a good track is supposed to do?!

Based upon my value system, I would rate this release a: $16.80/$20.00. I recommend: [Listen | Down Load | * Buy *]

Finally, I think this track would be a great one to remix or re-produce with the likes of any of the following DJs/Producers in the mix: DuMonde, DJ Jean, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Yoji Biomehanika, Menno De Jong, Alex Morph, Ill Skillz, Concord Dawn, MIDOR, MIKE/Push/Sunscreem, Dave 202, Deadmau5, Blake Jarrel, Safri Duo, Bas & Ram, etc.
